“Transferring European research outcomes into practice” will take place during the World Water Forum 6 (15 March 2012 in Marseille; 13:15 to 14:15). The WWF6 is an exhibition covering a wide general public. http://www.worldwaterforum6.org/en/ The added value for WaterDiss to be at the WWF6 is the wide panel of participants that should cover our targeted potential users. And as Waterdiss coordinator, the OIEau will have the great opportunity to promote our brokerage event during the official European session on Science Policy Interface the 14 March 2012 (10:30 to 16:30).
The objective of the Waterdiss WWF6 brokerage event is to present our capacity (through our IDS method) to support european research transfer to potential users by helping researchers to disseminate and by animating discussions between researchers and water managers. For this Waterdiss brokerage event, the audience is related to the attendance of the World Water forum: “the forum gathers all stakeholders around local, regional and global issues into a common framework of goals and concrete targets to reach”.
