Research Needs
The combined work of MEEDDAT, SNIFFER and ONEMA has been developed into a series of themes and issues for investigation.
The work has developed from seperate short and long term investigations into a common framework for priority subjects in water management.
For a more detailed presentation of the themes and their logic then please download the ’Strategic Research Agenda’. This document provides detailed breakdown of the issues and a classification of knowledge to allow prioritsation and a focus for research programme managers across Europe.
The European Water Community site is designed to allow researchers, water managers and policy makers an opportunity to say what you want, to discuss and vote on what are your priorities for the research and with this IWRM-net can have an interactive process to find the knowledge gaps.
If you are not already registered with the EU Water Community (formally the community pages of IWRM-Net) then please e-mail the site manager to register your interest. then we will send you a link and your joining instructions.
